Have you been trying to hit the gym only to give in to lazy habits? Maybe you’ve made the same New Year’s resolution ever year—to get into better shape—but you haven’t made any real strides in that direction. If you are one of the many who just can’t seem to commit to a workout plan, then let’s get to the basics of what’s holding you back.

Perhaps you haven’t found your motivation. This is something most people struggle with. The key is to create a fun exercise routine that you look forward to each day. In this blog, we’ve put together some reasons why our Bombay Jam dance fitness classes are truly addictive. If you have yet to find a workout that you enjoy and can stick with, then Bombay Jam could be the right fit for you!

The People

We’re proud to have people of all ages and fitness backgrounds in our Bombay Jam classes. Bombay Jam’s enjoyable and high energy environment attracts students ranging from 13 to 65 years of age. Bollywood music has a large presence in the class. While this does compel a strong South Asian presence in our classes, the best thing about Bollywood music is its universal appeal. The fast-paced beats and foot-tapping melodies have drawn a wide variety of ethnicities to our classes, many of whom have become Bombay Jam regulars.

With the lively attitude and enthusiasm of Bombay Jam’s certified instructors, you can’t help but have a smile on your face throughout the class. The positivity in the room radiates and the environment in our studios makes fostering friendships easy and inevitable.

The Music

Most people are aware of the Bollywood film industry and have probably even heard Bollywood music at one point or another. But when people take a Bombay Jam class, they get hooked on the refreshing blend of Bollywood music and Top 40 tracks. We choreograph our routines to custom music mixes by Bombay’s most popular DJs to keep your mind occupied and your body grooving. When you’re rocking out to these mixes, you’ll find yourself wondering where the hour went by.

The Confidence

In a quick one-hour session, you can shed up to 800 calories! Bombay Jam is a great way to shake off a stressful workday or jump start a weekend morning. Aside from the increased strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health, our students leave the gym with a newfound confidence. People who are general shy about dancing in public have told us that Bombay Jam has taught them some new moves for when they are at social events and gatherings. Attending dance fitness classes with a group of other encouraging strangers can do loads for your confidence!

The non-stop shaking of Bombay Jam will instill a confidence in you that you can take to all areas of your life!

So whether it’s the exotic dance moves, the fresh music, or the fun group attitude of our Bombay Jammers, you’ll be addicted to the experience in no time! If our dance fitness classes aren’t yet available in an area near you, check out our new Bombay Jam Bollywood Dance Fitness DVD!
