With our fitness instructor certification program, we prepare you with training specializing in Bollywood dance fundamentals.

Why Our Program?

At Bombay Jam we strive to provide our clients with fun and exciting dance routines that combine Bollywood dance music and styles with America’s top 40 hits. Our program was designed by a group of experienced Bollywood dancers, choreographers, and certified fitness instructors who wanted to bring fun back into fitness.

Wanting to offer potential fitness instructors the best training, we sought out the world’s most prominent educator in in fitness: The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). We are very pleased to be able to say that the AFAA approved our fitness instructor certification practices with flying colors! So not only are you being trained in a new and original style of exercise dance cardio, but a top fitness educator approved of the program!

To be a fitness instructor requires diligence, tact and humility. You will be working with a variety of clients with different skill sets and experience levels. As their fitness instructor you rule by example, so being fit, personable and encouraging is essential to being a successful instructor. As a Bombay Jam fitness instructor you are your own boss running your own dance/fitness regime. Upon certification you will have the confidence knowing you have been served with great training in a new dance cardio style that has swept the Bay Area by storm!

 Steps Toward Certification:

If you love dancing and exercise, you can make your living getting your groove on when you work with Bombay Jam! Your first step towards certification is registering through our website! After two intense days of learning the moves and receiving your training through workshops, interactive games, and lessons and theory in technique, you’ll be on your way towards your fitness instructor certification.

During the two extreme days of training we guide you through the history and choreography of Bollywood music and dance. You will learn the value of a strong beat and the dancer’s determination. Our instructors teach you routines that integrate dance fitness steps with the beat and pizazz of lyrical Bollywood music. Unlike other group dance cardio exercise classes that require their instructors to come up with choreography on their own, no matter the kind of experience they may have, we at Bombay Jam provide the dance moves for you. At Bombay Jam we work as team and believe dance fitness is not just a trend, it’s a way of life.
