How to Get Certified
Dance instructor certification requires a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. Our budding dance instructors at Bombay Jam are trained in the fundamentals of Bollywood dance, muscle toning and technique. How do we do this? By teaching you through a variety of tools including workshops, practical sessions and interactive games.
The first thing you have to do on the road to becoming a dance fitness instructor is take that first step and register. Upon registration, we will give you preparation materials that cover theory and two routines to demo. You’ll have 10 days to prepare before you begin your training so be sure to have a solid understanding of the techniques and theory behind them.
At Bombay Jam, our dance fitness training team teaches you the craft of Bollywood-inspired dance exercise during a two-day training course filled with theory sessions, studio time, mentoring and the Bollywood dance aesthetic. After your extensive two-day training, you will perform a Bollywood dance demonstration and take a written test. After you have passed, (we’ll have your results one week after you complete the exam) you can begin your fitness career!
